Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT)
In Manufacturing and Production
FreePoint has developed hardware and software with the goal of connecting any type of manufacturing equipment, from legacy up to brand new machinery. Leveraging the internet of things through a single set of hardware, FreePoint’s technology can connect nearly all machines found in a manufacturing space including CNC machines, stamping machines, presses, injection molders, lathes, mills, and assembly stations.

We connect your entire manufacturing process to our robust sensor technology. These wireless sensors gather information, which is fed through this hardware and aggregated directly into our ShiftWorx platform. Using this process, we can connect an unlimited amount of machinery pieces and monitor anything, from basic signal information up to the latest data outputs. Once collected, this information provides insight into machine activity, operator engagement, production speed and quantity, or any other data that is vital to collect.
The ShiftWorx platform is the engine: it does data collection, preprocessing, filtering, and provides analytical and visualization tools using various web-based products. It is the pulse of the plant. Our easy to understand dashboard display is ideal for operators running the machines, showing them exactly how their contribution fits into the bigger picture. It is equally ideal for supervisors, management, and process engineers, who require detailed metrics related to machine activity and downtime in order to facilitate production optimization, efficiency, and improved decision-making.
